Card of the Month Club: January *HELP HAITI*

I've had the idea swimming around in my head for some time now to do a Card of the Month Club here on the blog. And, wouldn't you know it, January almost passed me by!

What's better than getting and giving cute, thoughtful cards in the mail. Especially ones you can tell were made with love and care just for you! Well, I hope these FREE DOWNLOADS each month will encourage you to send a special little note at least once a month.

Each card will be simply designed and ready to be printed, cut/folded and mailed. OR, if you're crafty and genius like I know so many of you are, they are perfect for embellishing! And I'd love to see what you do with these cards. In the coming months, beginning the first week of February, I plan to post a new Card of the Month Club design (CTMC) for you to download. Then at the end of the month I will do a post asking you to link up photos of your creations using these cards.

• JANUARY DOWNLOAD:
Take a look at this month's FREE design, below.

To download click HERE and click "Download" on the left side to get the PDF file and save to your computer. PS - if you're a pro and have any tips for an easier download method, I'd love the tip!

• GO CLUBBING!
One way to make this even more fun is to hook up with a few friends and do a card swap each month. Here's how I've seen it done before. If there are 5 people in your group, make 5 copies of your card. When you meet for your monthly gathering, swap cards so everyone has one of each design. Just like a traditional cookie swap, I guess.

• HELP HAITI WITH EACH CARD OF THE MONTH
Want your crafting to mean more? Even though I am offering each month's card as a free download, I will also be listing each card for sale in my Etsy shop with 100% of proceeds going directly to help those in Haiti through the United Methodist Committee on Relief (learn more about UMCOR here). Shop to help here.

Watch soon for a chance to post your January card creations AND get the February card download, too.
