Spring Terrarium

Miss E was up extra early today and the hubs
is off to Asheville to help at a wedding, so we
got started with the birds this morning.

I thought it would be the perfect day to try to
make a dent in my projects to-do list.

So off to Home Depot we went to get our supplies
to make our very own terrarium. I got the idea from

I'm not sure I got the right plants for this sort of
thing, but I really like how it turned out. Even
though mine is small, I think it adds a little
something to my sparse mantle. (We're keeping it
simple because our house is currently for sale.)

So, what do you think?
I added the ribbon and fabric flower to give
it a special decorative touch, which turned out
just the way I hoped it would.

**Did I mention my thumb isn't
even a SHADE of green?**

Lots more projects to think about, but while
Emma's napping I'm going to clean up a bit
and rest up. We've got a 2-year old party
to go to later and I think I'll need my energy.

Have a happy Saturday!

The plants look like they will do well. I really like the one in the center {do you know what the name of it is?} Thanks so much for sharing - love it! ~ Stephanie Lynn

  6. That is very pretty, and a thrifty alternative to buying fresh flowers. I love the touch of the flower, softens the whole look.
