Once in a while you come across
something that gets you so giddy
with excitement that you can't wait
to share it with everyone you know.
Last week I discovered This Paper Ship
and have been itching to tell you about
them ever since I laid my eyes on
their super fun, whimsical creations.
Joel and Ashely are the husband and wife
team behind this freelance design, photography
and illustration studio based here in my town
of Greensboro, North Carolina (lucky me!).
They specialize in wedding paper goods, wedding
and portrait photography, graphic design and
custom, original archival ink illustrations.
Just take a look at some of their stuff.
These original ink illustrations make me smile!
They come printed 12x12" on environmental
French paper using high quality archival inks.
They also specialize in custom announcements
and invitations -- so unique for your special days.
One of the neatest things I think they do
are these customized, hand illustrated maps.
Great for a "we've moved" notice, insert
for a destination wedding invitations, etc.
And be sure to visit their website and their
Flickr page for samples of their AMAZING
wedding and portrait photography.
Modern and classic all at once!
Joel and Ashley are graciously offering
one lucky reader one of their shadowbox
illustrations - a great holiday gift idea!
Joel and Ashley draw objects that highlight you or
whoever the shadowbox is for - one of a kind!
