Hey Moms, Help!

**WARNING: First-Time Mom Post Ahead**

So our pediatrician finally decided Emma is ready for ear tubes. She barely got over this current ear infection with two full doses of two different antibiotics. And it was her 7th infection in 15 months. I'm not terribly freaked out because I know it's so common.

Still, I'd welcome any advice or insight any moms out there would be willing to give. What was your experience like when your babies had to have tubes? What did you wish, if anything, someone had told you? Is it really worth worrying over?

Thanks for helping out!

  1. Hello Teresa,
It's so nice to meet you! Thank you very much for visiting my blog and for following along as well. I really appreciate and I will do the same. Your blog is so pretty and cherrful! Love it here!

We don't have any children of our own but we do have 12 nieces and nephews. He! I know my sisters have gone through the ear tubes with the boys and it worked out just fine. I hope all goes well with it.

Come by and say Hello anytime!
    ~Warmly, ~Melissa :)

  2. I actually had tubes in my ears when I was young (I'm now mid-30's!) Anyways, my Mom went back and forth and finally decided she would rather have the minor procedure done rather than continue giving me antibiotics. She said the hardest part was handing me over to the doctors to do the procedure. But when the tubes came out and the ear infections immediately returned she did not hesitate to have them put in a second time. Good luck, I know every decision we make for our babies is tough! :)
